Travel to The Great Machu Picchu, Peru

 
Every country in the world has a lot of history. History is formers or forerunner of the country's identity. Therefore, the history of it is very important to remember and legacy needs to be preserved. In addition, historical heritage is also a very valuable cultural heritage. Here is one of
an example of the cultural heritage of Peru in South America which serves as the famous sights there. It is Machu Picchu relating to the history of Peru. The People of Peru now probably is still happy for the historical heritage, because Machu Picchu is also included as the Seven Wonders of the World which is very sorry if you do not visit when we are in South America.

Machu Picchu or often referred to as the lost Inca city are the remains of the ruins of the Inca civilization. Located in a mountainous area with an altitude of over 2,400 meters, Machu Picchu is a symbol of the Inca Empire which was built in 1450 and is a symbol of community and dedication which stood for centuries in the middle of the Amazon jungle, in the upper of the Urubamba River. Machu Picchu became the center of international attention when it was first discovered back in 1911 by archaeologists from Yale University, USA, Hiram Bingham. Then there are many theories about the ruins which stand on the hills. Currently, most of the existing buildings in Machu Picchu have been reconstructed so that the visitors can get a clearer picture about the life of the Incas. Some researchers believe that Machu Picchu is the tomb of Pachacutec, because there are buildings which coated with gold. It also makes it very attractive to travel for travel mania especially the hill has beautiful scenery.


Machu Picchu was the most crowded in the dry season (June to August), and the most deserted at the height of the rainy season which is in February. If the rainy season, be prepared many delays to get to Machu Picchu. There are two ways to get to Machu Picchu, the first is by trekking for the adventurous and the second is with train in which the price of train tickets are very expensive to get there. For tickets to Machu Picchu, it will not be available at the entrance, but it can be purchased online. It aims to limit the number of visitors to Machu Picchu to maintain its sustainability. The price of admission to Machu Picchu is PEN 126 per person. If you want to stay overnight, there is only one hotel only in the location of Machu Picchu, and this hotel is very expensive with a starting price of USD 500. For a traveler this is not a problem right? Then be prepared to go there.
